The Terriers have had a tough start to the season, but they managed to round off their two-game winless streak in impressive fashion on Sunday evening.
After a strong performance against Guingamp in the previous game, the team looked set for another successful outing against Nantes. However, it was not all plain sailing as Nantes fought back and took the lead early on. But, the Terriers did not give up and continued to push forward.
In the second half, the Terriers really started to turn things around and began to dominate possession. They were creating chances at will and eventually found themselves ahead through a goal from Jordan Ayew. The goal gave the Terriers a much-needed confidence boost and they continued to press for more goals.
With just minutes left on the clock, the Terriers were able to score again through a penalty kick from Wilfried Bony. This gave them a 2-1 lead which they held onto until the final whistle. It was a well-deserved victory for the Terriers who had worked hard throughout the game.
This win is a big step forward for the Terriers, who now look to continue their winning ways. They have shown that they can compete with the best teams in France and they will be looking to build on this success in the coming weeks.
